The Group held the 2009 annual summary awards ceremony
On Feb. 9th morning in 2009, Group conference center was warm and sweet and full of happiness. Hixih Group 2009 annual summary awards ceremony was held here. Chairman Niu made an important speech. He emphasized that we should keep on going, to make the spirit of innovation development, sticking to “there is only gas station in Hixih and there is no car-parking place”. We should work hard and with high speed and strength to make Hixih become a world-known big multi-national group.
Group Executive director Niu Teng, Pirelli Company GM Cattaneo, Aneng Company Margaret Sheng and some leaders took part in this meeting. Group vice-GM Wang Weiqin was the host.
2009 is a very unusual year in the history of the group development, and it is also an important milestone. Facing great economic turbulence, the whole world bogged down in crisis. The financial storm caused by the crisis has greatly affected the world economy especially the entity economy. Many economic industries and markets have experienced great recessions and the whole world was in the mood of panic and depression. The economy did not recover until the end of the year which means the farewell to the most difficult period. Hixih Group gave precious gifts to our Group 20th anniversary and New China 60th anniversary. At the same time, we sponsored CSL, held , and invited Bush to come to “Top Talk”. These things made Hixih become the focus of the society.
Chairman first of all congratulated the outstanding team and individual. Thank Carlyle Group, Pirelli Group and Veyance Group! Also thank all hard-working staff!
Chairman said that in last year, the group was the first in the whole city with the annual sales of 12 billion RMB, profit tax of 1.13 billion, tax of 310 million and import& export volume of 280 million USD. In the extraordinary 2009, we also welcomed our 20th anniversary and achieved the annual sales exceeds 10 billion RMB. Looking back to the 20 years history, we feel quite proud. The past 20 years is the period which we advance with times; in the last 20 years, we followed the historic trend of development and advanced with times. In the last 20 years, we studied the situation and applied the scientific strategies. In the last 20 years, we kept developing and innovating. In the last 20 years, we applied the open-door policy and developed to be internationalization. In the last 20 years, we have occupied great achievements and done great contributions to the society.
Chairman pointed that in 2009 we mainly have done these work as follows: 1. Further Improvements on Environment, Achieved Green Environmental-Protection Criteria. 2. New Product Release Conference at the Great Hall of the People. 3. Pirelli sponsored China Football Super League. 4. The first phase of 100,000 tons of steel wire rope project started construction. 5. Hixih investment holding Company was opened grandly. 6. Celebration of Hixih 20th Anniversary & Turnover Exceed 10 billion conference. 7. CCTV "The Same Song" came into Hixih Group. 8. Sign the low-carbon projects of the vehicle exhaust filters with Pirelli. 9. We are ranking as the 90 of “Forbes China Rich List” as the richest one in Shandong province. 10. Hold Hixih Group 2010 China and the Global Economy Top Talk, former U.S. President George W. Bush was invited here and he addressed a keynote speech. These achievements were worth pride by every Hixih staff!
