On May 8th, Jining ceremoniously held Science and Technology Awards and Innovation conference. Dr. Yu Zhaoxia of Hixih group won the highest award of 2012 Annual Jining Science and Technology Award, Secretary of the CPC Jining Municipal Committee, Director of Jining Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee Ma Pingchang issued certificate of award for her.
Dr. Yu Zhaoxia has long been engaged in theoretical and engineering technology research of conveyor belt, has remarkable achievements in the steel cord conveyor belt breakage mechanism and control field, as the main responsible person, she has participated in nearly a hundred projects, gained a number of domestic and foreign patents, and also is the author of dozens of high level academic papers, at the same time, she is one of the first batch of overseas talents who was introduced through Jining "511" plan, also Shandong province Mountain Tai scholars -- overseas special invited expert. Dr. Yu Zhaoxia is the first one who successfully developed the embedded coil ripstop steel cord conveyor belt, has greatly improved the material handling efficiency in condition of complex conditions. In recent years, the low rolling resistance and energy-saving steel wire rope core conveyer belt, high thermal shock resistance of integral steel mesh conveyor belt, closed type fabric core conveyor belt, self-cleaning conveyor belt and other multiple new conveyor belt products which she has been engaged in and developed have reached the international advanced level. Those world's leading level products and processes highlight the enterprise obvious advantages on high-end conveying belt technology, greatly enhance the company's influence and competitiveness in domestic and international rubber industry.
At the conference, Hixih group was also identified as the first batch of science and technology demonstration enterprise, will give priority to undertake various national and provincial major project. Gaining this award is lean on Hixih’s long attachment to technical innovation.
