In the afternoon of August 4, Jining municipal party committee secretary, director of the standing committee Ma Pingchang, Yanzhou district party committee secretary Zhang Yuhua visited the Continental  AG group Asian headquarter in Shanghai accompanied by Hixih party secretary Niu YiShun. They had a candid and in-depth exchange with Continental global executive board member, China zone President and CEO Kang Ruifan about further enhancing cooperation.
In February 2015, Hixih group and Continental AG group realized strategic cooperation, and jointly set up Shandong ContiTech Engineered Product Co., Ltd. The successful cooperation has fully integrated the world's leading research and development strength, production equipment and manufacturing technology, and further expanded the leading edge in the field of high-end engineered rubber, created the world's largest conveyor belt and high-end hose manufacturer.
During the conference, Ma Pingchang briefly described the present situation of Jining and economic and social development situation. He said, Jining is a culture holy city with profound inside information, is a transportation junction with rich resource, is a modern industry new town with complete industrial system and a superior appropriate industry and commercial city with enrichment of human resources and business environment. In recent years, Jining takes the five development philosophy as guide to comprehensively enhance openness, actively expand areas of cooperation and promote strategic cooperation with the domestic and oversea big enterprise group, there are 48 world Top-500 enterprises located in Jining. Shandong provincial party committee and government attache great importance to Continental AG group’s investment in shandong, Jining municipal party committee and the municipal government will fully support the cooperation between Continental AG group and Hixih and hope they could make persistent efforts and expand cooperation achievements.
Hixih party secretary Niu YiShun reviewed the cooperation history between Continental AG group and Hixih and the achievements and prospects the future prospects for cooperation. He said, as excellent representatives of China and Germany engineered rubber, both Continental AG group and Hixih have extensive influence in the whole world. The cooperation of two companies have complementary advantages, Hixih's technical strength and the degree of internationalization has increased, also accelerated Continental AG group’s market strategic layout in China mainland, and strengthened the confidence of both sides to further expand cooperation. Next, they would vigorously support the development of the Continental AG group’s development in China mainland, constantly enhance and expand areas of cooperation to create greater value for global customers.
Kang Ruifan introduced Continental AG group's development history, industrial layout, strategic planning in China, highly praised the good relations with Hixih group, and thanked the Jining municipal party committee and government's concern and support. He says, after entered Chinese mainland, Continental AG group keeps steady development trend, would further increase investment in research and development, enhance core competitiveness, to provide users with more scientific and technological products and more quality services. The cooperation between Continental AG group and Hixih is very successful, and already have the basis and conditions to further deepen cooperation.
