There are lights and flowers filled with the conference center. On the morning of January 29th, 2011, Hixih Group annual award convention of 2010 was held successfully. The Chairman Niu Yishun made an important speech at the meeting, he stressed that, we should go on working hard to strive to make our Group become the world famous multinational Group whose sales income will exceed a hundred billion, tax profits over 10 billion, with a number of listed companies.
Executive Director Niu Teng, Pirelli Company GM Cattaneo, Aneng Company GM Qi Song, and several leaders took part in this meeting. This meeting was presided by Wang Weiqin, Vice-GM of Aneng Company.
At 8:30 in the morning, the award convention was started with the music. With the warm applause, the Chairman made an important speech. Firstly, he congratulated all collectives and individuals who got the awards, expressed his gratitude to the partners – Pirelli, Goodyear and Carlyle Group, and thanked all employees for their hard work!
The Chairman pointed that, in 2010, Facing the grim economic situation at home and abroad, Hixih Group carried forward the fine tradition and promoted the spirit of Hixih to focus on marketing and management and work hard to make brilliant achievements. Annual sales revenue exceeded 15.2 billion, 1.3 billion pre-tax profits, exports 1.2 billion, and major economic indicators on the basis of double growth of the previous year achieved significant growth.
The Chairman said, in 2010, we have mainly done eight projects: 1, invest more than 8 billion yuan on the 100 thousand tons of new steel wire rope, 100 million standard meters high pressure hose, 100 thousand tons of steel cord, 3 million sets of motorcycle tires, 100 thousand kilowatts thermal power generation, 500 thousand sets of DPF, 10 million sets of car tires expansion and 100 thousand sets of engineering tires these eight major projects. 2, in the circumstances of weak economic recovery and unstable global capital market, Hixih Investment Company, with professional investment vision, wise value judgment and superb operational skills, made a good return on investment. 3, Hixih • Forbidden City, the first real estate project of our Group, was put into construction. Hixih • Forbidden City covers an area of 300 mu, building area of 700,000 square meters, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan, is a modern community with residential, commercial, catering, entertainment and leisure in one. After completion, it will become the high-end residential district, the core business gathering district, ecological living demonstration district and modern life leading district. 4, enhance virescence to construct low-carbon ecological park continually. 5, implement high-end, high-grade, highly effective development to create hundred year enterprise. 6, strengt
