In the afternoon of August 3rd, Aneng held the 2nd board meeting of 2011 in the VIP meeting room on 5th floor. Hixih Chairman Niu Yishun, Goodyear president John Hamilton, Goodyear deputy globe president and Aneng general manager Qi Song, Hixih deputy general manager Wang Weiqin and Bu Xiangbin, Goodyear rubber senior chiefs and other related personnel attended this meeting.
They discussed the following business of the first half year of 2011: business performance, hose development, production cost control, SAP system application, organization structure modification, cooperation with foreign countries, boards governance and so on and deeply analyzed the important issues which related with Aneng’s future development. The meeting achieved great success.
In the first half year of 2011, Aneng faced many disadvantages such as high price of raw material, severe market competition, macro economy contraction. However, under the right leadership and support from Hixih and Goodyear, Aneng took enhancing economic performance as focus of work, through energy saving and technology innovation, Aneng has achieved great success. At present, the market share is expanding, the management efficiency, financial status and cash flow management is improving. All these has overcome cost pressure which comes form price rising. At the same time, Aneng has finished programs construction of high pressure hose and SAP and has laid solid foundation to future development.
In the future, Aneng should strictly implement policy of energy saving to push forward cost saving: strengthen technology innovation to develop new products, new technology and new formula continuously, strengthen cooperation with global purchasing department of Goodyear to improve bargaining power and advantage, optimize non-core assets to save cost. Aneng should push forward sales efforts of high pressure hose, perfect distributor network construction, increase sale towards coal mine, value cooperation between key customers and solidify the important market resource and give full play to SAP system to offer more help to Aneng’s management policy.
They also made consensus to implement modifications to steel wire rope extrusion performing and compound production line, 1.8meters wide plied conveyor belt tension forming machine and 1.8 meters wide plied/PVG conveyor belt extrusion gluing production line to improve quality and production efficiency, lower cost and strengthen market competition. In order to guarantee quality and reliability of financial reports, they decided to found board of auditors and determined members of the auditor group.
All the participants highly appreciated the great achievements about operating management and team construction, especially the good cooperation relationship between Hixih and Goodyear and they hoped both parties could enhance cooperation in the future and realize great-leap-forward development.
