This September of Hixih was full of passion and football matches were intensely in football field. In the afternoon of September 11, 2011, final match of the 5th “Rubber Cup” football match was held. After 90 minutes’ fierce competition, Pirelli PCR won the match by 3:0 against Hixih guard & Yanzhou 91 hospital team. Chairman Niu Yishun, senior administrators and representatives from all companies watched this final match.

The fifth football game has 16 matches from September 2, 2011. They separated 8 teams into A and B group and adopted group match, cross match and final match to decided the top 3 teams.

Through 12 intense matches, 4 teams had the qualification into elimination series. They were Pirelli PCR/ DPF team and Aneng rubber/polyester/warehouse/R&D team from A group and Hixih guard/ Yanzhou 91 hospital team and Pirelli TBR/claim/logistic team from B group.

In the cross match, Pirelli PCR/ DPF team defeated Pirelli TBR/claim/logistic team, and Hixih guard/ Yanzhou 91 hospital team defeated Aneng rubber/polyester/warehouse/R&D team then went into final match. Pirelli TBR/claim/logistic team won Aneng rubber/polyester/warehouse/R&D team by 2:0 and got the third place.

In the afternoon of September 11, 2011, the championship battle began between Pirelli PCR/ DPF team and Hixih guard/ Yanzhou 91 hospital team. Pirelli PCR/ DPF team has rich experience and strong technique power and has gained champion for several times. While Hixih guard/ Yanzhou 91 hospital team was a young team and was just founded at the 4th football match and just added some new members from Yanzhou 91 hospital. Although young, they still have good physical quality and running ability.

Pirelli PCR/ DPF team’s strong technique power helped them gained initiative. Match the first 18 minutes, center back transferred football to midfield then gained one goal. At the 26th minute, this team gained another goal. At the end of the first half match, Pirelli PCR/ DPF team won by 2:0.

At the second half, Hixih guard/ Yanzhou 91 hospital team evidently strengthened their offensive. However, Pirelli PCR/ DPF team held the match in hand. At the 85th minute, forward of Pirelli PCR/ DPF team took the chance of fault of linebacker of Hixih guard/ Yanzhou 91 hospital team and kicked the 3rd goal. Finally, the 5th “Rubber Cup” came to an end with result of 3:0.

Since the 1st “Rubber Cup’ football match successfully held in 2007, the football charm deeply connected with Hixih’s culture. This time, all departments and workshops overcome difficulties of hard task and staff insufficient and tried there best to guarantee normal match. All 8 teams adhered to principals of “friendship first, competition second” and showed their excellent football skills and spirit. Every match was brilliant and every team member never gave up even behind the opponent. And fans cheered for every brilliant goal. All these showed Hixih’s first class football level and passion.

Closing ceremony was held after the final, senior administrations handed out trophy and bonus to the top 3 teams and Chairman took pictures with all teams in the end.
