Recently, Department of Science and Technology of Shandong province announced the 2012 independent innovation program draft approval list. Hixih group’s high performance tire framework material program is among them.
The independent innovation special fund of Shandong Province is set jointed by Shandong Science and Technology Department and Shandong Finance Department in 2012, aims to promote Shandong province’s independent innovation capability and core competitiveness, promote the adjustment of economic structure and the transformation of economic development mode, accelerate construction of innovation province. The project’s review highlights competition preferred principle, to undertake the project through bidding and expert assessment. This year’s first batch of projects mainly from biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, advanced manufacturing industry, rubber and tire industry, non-ferrous metal industry, environmental protection industry, marine industry, modern agriculture industry and others. There are a total of three companies on the list in high performance tire framework material field of rubber tire industry.
Hixih group’s high performance tire framework material project smoothly passed the evaluation and review, successfully nominated on the independent innovation special list. The project mainly studies the new structure of steel cord tire framework material and industrialization development, products mainly used for radial tire’s carcass layer, can be used for car tires, truck tires, heavy truck, off-road vehicle and SUV tire. Project through heat treatment process and wet drawing technology, can reduce the filament diameter, achieve effect of light weight and excellent performance; adopting RIP equipment to simplify process, improve efficiency, reduce cost and save resources; the modified Z type straightener, will better control the product torsion value to perfect product’s open degree and integrate more tightly. Once industrialized, will fill domestic blank and can replace imported products, reduce dependence on foreign technology, while has very important significance to the development of high performance tire framework material industry and tire industry.
