Recently, ‘Low rolling resistance energy saving steel cord conveyor belt’ program which developed independently by Aneng was selected into Ministry of Science and Technology ‘2014 National Torch Plan’. This is the second program selected into the plan after the ‘energy saving steel wire rope tubular conveyor belt’ in 2011, demonstrates Aneng’s powerful R&D ability.
Low rolling resistance energy saving steel cord conveyor belt is a new type of conveyor belt developed by Aneng independently. On basis of tire rubber production technology, by improving formula of bottom cover and using special process design, we aim to change the friction coefficient. In this way, energy that consumed by rubber creep can be focused on conveyor belt’s drive, thus the operation energy consumption can be reduced and efficiency improved, conveyor belt’s service life can also be extended. This conform to national’s energy conservation and emission consumption request, and can save almost 20% fixed investment and more than 12% operation cost for customers. This kind of conveyor belt is appropriated for long distance, big volume and high burdened material transportation. According to the scientific and technological achievements evaluation made by Shandong Science and Technology Agency, the conveyor belt’s synthesis technique has reached international advanced level, and has been list as Shandong Outstanding Energy Saving Achievement and Shandong Independent Innovation Achievement Transformation Major Special Project.
